Mr. Foundos is President of Lamsia Corporation, which has been an active investor in Albania and presently oversees investments in a garment factory in Korca that has 600 employees, the Regency Hotel in Korca, and movie theaters. He is also directing some real estate development in the New York City area. Mr. Foundos was previously Chief Executive Officer of Humicon Inc., a company engaged in manufacturing a new design patented humidor and cigar distribution. He joined Fluid Data., a manufacturer and marketer of gas analyzers, in 1979 and remained with the company until it was sold in 1995. As President of Fluid Data, he was instrumental in the growth of the company from $800,000 to $19,000,000 in sales through internal growth and acquisition. During his tenure he had operational responsibility for plants in the U.S. and U.K., and he also was the key financial officer of Fluid Data. Prior to joining Fluid Data, he was Vice President of Operations and Treasurer at Ballantine Laboratories, Inc., a manufacture of electronic test and measuring instruments. He was one of three entrepreneurs who acquired Ballantine Labs in August, 1971, from the Singer Company. Prior to leaving Ballantine, sales increased from $600,000 to almost $5 million and over 100 employees. Mr. Foundos received his Masters in Business (MBA) from Harvard Business School, and received an B.S.E.E from City College of New York. He is the Chairman of the Board of St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church, Board Member of the Albanian Children Fund, and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
